We went up the Eiffel Tower for a lark
Thought we’d see Gay Paree in the dark
It was wonderful for a while
Gaye relaxed and started to smile
The city lights twinkled here and there
Then there was a bloody bomb scare!
The guy next to me started to cry
“God help me, I don’t want to die!”
There was chaos as people ran around
Police swarmed like ants on the ground
What would you do if it was you?
We just leaned back and enjoyed the view!
