\nabout Irish History<\/p>\n
You lament how Dublin\u2019s changed
\nyou remember what used to be
\nyou cherish the past and what remains
\nof Auld Dublin City<\/p>\n
But cities are simply stone and clay
\nIt\u2019s true today as then
\nthe enduring legacy of Dublin City
\nlives on in its women and men<\/p>\n
You remember well, those who fell
\nfor Irish liberty
\nthose brave hearts are not forgot
\nin Irish History<\/p>\n
Yet the fight goes on, it hasn\u2019t stopped
\nthe truth is plain to see
\ngood Irish men and women will never rest
\nwhen there\u2019s Irish poverty<\/p>\n
When I look at you, I do believe
\nI see revolutionaries
\nyou are the ones, right here and now
\nwho will make new Irish History!<\/p>\n
I listened and I heard you tell
\nthrough song and poetry
\nthat you will always fight to defend
\nhuman rights and dignity<\/p>\n
